Nice restaurant for breakfast first time there

Ate here for the second time today for lunch and haven't been impressed either time ! Ordered the club sandwich with fries. The sandwich was cut into 4 small pieces like finger food and the fries were under cooked which I didnt eat. So basically $11 dollars for a sandwich and drink !

Awesome breakfast

Happened to find this restaurant when searching for someplace to eat in Morris while coming thru town. It was later so we asked if they were still serving since the posted close time was less than 1/2 hour away. The waitress welcomed us in, brought our drinks immediately and menus. My husband ordered breakfast items and I ordered a sandwich with sides. The food was very good, the service was excellent and we never felt rushed, although we felt bad so we tried to eat fast. While visiting with the waitress, we discovered the young lady was the owners high school age daughter. We have to say that this young lady impressed us with her maturity and work ethic. So glad we found this place as we will make it our halfway trip place from now on. Thank you

Great breakfast (e.g. pancakes)! Love hanging out here with "friends" around the community. They've hosted "town hall" like community meetings too. An asset to our community!

Best place to eat. Everytime we go to Morris for Eagles District meeting we always stop at DeToys Restaurant. They have the best food in the country. Recommend you eat there.

My family and I go here every time we visit my son at the U here in town. Great prices, fantastic service and very friendly. Of course being a small tiown restaraunt there are always local people who are super friendly and nice ti chat with.

It's just a nice, family style diner restaurant. Casual, food was good, quickly served and hot. Portions were reasonable, and reasonably priced.

The food was not fresh, ordered a steak and it smelt so bad and tasted awful and sent back! No acknowledgement that there was something especially wrong with the meat! Got very sick that evening!

A very pleasant place to stop for breakfast

Simply put, the greatest breakfast in town. We lived in Morris for three years and loved to go have breakfast at any time of the day.

It's an okay, small town family restaurant. Prices are on the cheap side, so don't expect anything on the menu to blow you away. Nobody is putting their heart and soul into their cooking here. Service is decent enough though.
